It's coming...no, not the apocalypse, but close...the federal government's mandated switch from analog to digital broadcasting. While most of us won't be affected, it's senior citizens and their rabbit ear TVs that are screwed. Actually, The Price is Right is screwed. Their ratings are about to nose dive.

SNL usually returns in October, does two new episodes then has at least a week off, then has about two months off around the holidays. Not this year.
