In men's high level end of Volleyball, its important to get 3 blockers on the job. You'll see Russia do a good job of that. Also Alexey Verbov Russia's Libero plays sweeper, & plays the role well. Libero's normally play from position-5.

You see here Georgia dueling with Brazil. Battling for every point is the name of the game. You never want to give away easy points. When your opposition reaches 20pts before you, there is really no room for errors.

You'll see two great rallies from the 2006 World Championship in Japan. Brazil's Gustavo Endres shows you a great jump serve a high saving play as well as the low sprawling pass and then a back set, all in one rally (as sweeper). Both rallies end with two excellent back-sets for the hitters to kill.

Spiking from any situation is key to recovering. Being able to return a more difficult ball is better then giving a free-ball in most situations.
