The Washington Post has published Nidal Hasan's power-point presentation titled "The Koranic World View as it relates to Muslims in the U.S. Military" that he gave to fellow Army doctors in 2007. Notice the title says the Koranic world view - not the jihadist world view. On page 48 of the presentation, he presented a slide that began with Osama Bin Laden's name and ended with "We love death more than your life". Notice he didn't write they love life more but "we love". Hasan concluded Allah expects full loyalty and to establish an Islamic state to please Allah even by force is condoned in Islam. The AP reported last night Fort Hood suspect's superiors questioned his behavior which were described as zealously overly religious. He was also reported to behave belligerent, defensive and argumentative. Hasan had contact with an Al-Qaeda-linked American born Imam, Anwar Awlaki, before this man got promoted to major in May! Awlaki was arrested in Yemen in 2006 with Al-Qaeda militants and jailed, .for crying out loud. And what about the spin that intelligent agents didn't pursue Hasan's e-mails to Awlaki that they intercepted because he was merely seeking spiritual advice? Are you kidding me? Awlaki...

A climate change treaty will likely be signed by President Barack Obama at the 2009 United Nations Climate Change conference in Copenhagen, Sweden this December. Watch a short video clip from a talk given by Lord Christopher Monckton, a climate change researcher and skeptic, given on October 14th in Minnesota. Monckton, a one-time policy adviser to Margaret Thatcher, warned this treaty creates a world government for managing energy usage and who knows what else! Read the draft of the treaty here (see section 38 on page 18). But the treaty would have to receive the advice and consent of the Senate to be effective. Of course, I am not any kind of expert on constitutional law but Monckton claims that this treaty could trump the U.S. Constitution. It sounds far fetched to me but I'm just throwing this out here for further consideration and study. Former Vice President Al Gore conducted a rare Q & A at a conference of environmental journalists in Wisconsin last Friday. When one of the journalists questioned Gore on errors cited by a UK judge in his 2005 documentary titled "Inconvenient Truth" he tried to ditch the questions and the man was then cut off by other journalists (see video below). Aren't journalists suppose to probe, to question and be skeptical in order to flesh out the truth? Video: Per Fox News Boston: "A woman that appears to be the daughter of Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg gives the middle finger to an unknown crowd member during Thursday's procession...Our photographer just happened to be focused on the limo carrying the young Kennedy woman right when she made the obscene gesture near Fanueil Hall. The woman in question appears to be 21 year old Rose Schlossberg, the daughter of Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg and Edwin Schlossberg and granddaughter of former president John Fitzgerald Kennedy. Our photographer was not close enough to know what happened to prompt Rose to do this, but it looks like she was responding to someone in the crowd. Who knows what rude comment she might have heard?
