  • The best way to occupy my time
As most of you already know I don't spend a whole lot of time in front of the television, in fact if you happen to see the TV on in the same room that I am working in, it was either turned on by my wife or there was an important news story that I happened to be following. To show how much I have been keeping up with the latest TV equipment available, I don't even own a flat screen TV as yet.

  • The importance of a great relationship
For those of you who have joined me today that are fortunate enough to have a beautiful woman at your side, I can only hope that you appreciate how important marriage is to you. Through the years we as a society have become extremely careless about showing that special someone that we really care, that is of course until it is too late.

  • As bad as it is, there is hope
Being diagnosed with any disease is probably not one of the most encouraging things that can happen in our lives, especially if that disease happens to be a terminal one. It is difficult enough being told that we have to adjust our lifestyle to accommodate these changes but when we are told that our life could be destroyed or terminated because we are now saddled with Cancer, regardless of whether that diagnosis is for prostate, leukemia or some other part of the body, things quickly change.

  • Are we confused yet
We are no longer waiting on the political race to begin, in fact it is now in full swing. While the political pundits continue to try to figure out who the front-runner is, they keep changing faster than we can change our clothes.

  • Telling it like it is
Microsoft has monopolized the world of spreadsheets, word processors and power point for years now, however that has changed drastically within recent times. With the advent of Libre and open office the times have since changed, where users can now have access to free software to allow for them to use during work or school exercises.

  • A scare to end all scares
Everyone who has ever stopped by to follow my thoughts will be aware of the fact that I do not believe in homosexuality or anything that is even remotely related to a gay lifestyle. They also know that the reasons for my opinion is purely religious and when I say religious I am not reflecting what any human beings choose to consider as religion, my beliefs stem directly from what the creator has informed me (through His word and the Holy Spirit).

  • Differences of Opinion
This country has fast become a nation of laws and directives that politicians in Washington believe will help us become a better nation. Isn't it amazing how these laws are interpreted so differently, especially when it is time to apply them?

  • The trick is to remain focused
Have you ever set your goal to accomplish something that you felt so strongly about that you were determined to leave no stone unturned in order to get it done. When planning the things that are important to us, the choices that we make will inevitably affect the way things turn out.

  • Killing the messenger
When human beings are told something, we always seem to be so quick to jump on the defensive, yet we should not be offended by the accusation, unless it applies to us in the first place. It is like that old saying in the west, we should shoot first and then ask questions later.

  • Your experience will make you stronger
When a non-believer comes in contact with you and your faith is not strong, believe me, they can see it. The fact of the matter is that non-believers and atheists alike are prepared to use every opportunity to do the work of the evil one, even if it means that they must "prey" on the young and not so strong children of God.

  • We may want to think about that
Society today is very quick to lock up its citizens, assuming for one minute that this action will solve the problem of crime and drug abuse. If we continue to follow along this path and make no effort to correct it, by at the very least identifying what causes the problem to raise its ugly head, we may as well build many more prisons and prepare ourselves to lock away many more individuals.

  • Unraveling before his eyes
When people decide to make decisions based on their own personal beliefs, without regard for those around them, there is a terminology for such an action, and it usually means that the individual making such a decision is purely selfish. Telling everyone that the law is a good one, when in fact it reeks of one-sidedness, is taking the matter one step further to show that all is not well with them.

  • The worst kind of infiltration
I have never been one to put down another persons beliefs (at least not intentionally) and I have no plans of doing so now, however you have to admit that faith and logic is something that we should all use when deciding our destination. When a group of people allow their good name to be used in a fashion that makes them look like terrorists, they are allowing the worst kind of infiltration into their faith.

  • The sincere ones
I am always apprehensive when it comes to developing long term friendships, especially the way that things change so severely from day to day. Yes I have been called a hermit on a few occasions, however, I consider that to be my way of protecting myself from the pain and suffering that friendships sometimes bring.

  • The job of the beast
As children we are all taught what it means to be choosing right from wrong, or at least we should be. The devil already has the adult population right where he wants us, so the only thing left to go after is the children of tomorrow.

  • Temptations and attacks
Life has a way of throwing us many curve balls that we would seriously prefer to avoid, yet if we are to become stronger in Jesus Christ, we should take comfort in the fact that these curve balls are intended to make us ever so much stronger. The Lord wants an army of soldiers that can withstand almost anything, so deciding to follow Jesus, while guaranteeing you a place in heaven, also opens you up to be trained to be dependable and accurate in the guidelines that our Savior wants us to follow.

  • Sludge and satan
Have you ever stopped to consider some of the reasons why things are taking such a southerly direction in our society today? The United States in particular has lost quite a bit of its punch and we appear to be losing our initiative.

  • Offended by the accusation
When someone finds themself in a position where their integrity and dedication is in question, why is it that they become so offended by the accusation, especially when they know it to be wrong? The last thing they should do is to take the matter in their own hand, in fact they have another option and that is to walk away.

  • Love and consideration
As children we are taught that we should share and play nice with our friends, at least I was anyway. These days it seems as though we are more interested in what we can get from our neighbors (no longer called friends) while we concentrate on other more interesting projects and sinful activities that we can get into.
