Longlining is a common research technique used by shark scientists as well as the primary fishing technique used by shark finners. Check out this video I made to see how we do it! Make sure your sound is on!

As many of you know, a character based on me was featured in the shark adventure book "Meg: Hell's Aquarium" by Steve Alten. Though I was embarrassed that my character ran away in terror after one minisub dive, it does mean that I live to be in the next book... if you help me to win this contest!
