This 22 minute documentary is dedicated to the campesinos (peasants) who survived El Salvador's 12 year civil war and to their ongoing struggle for self-sustainable development. It also documents a 1994 DePauw University service trip to El Salvador and the work of Companion Community Development Alternatives (CoCoDA), a US-based non-profit organization working in Latin America.
