Google Chrome OS - What it Is and Isn't
I really enjoyed that video. It sums up the average PC user fairly well. Well, anyway... Now that you have what Google has in mind for their OS, let's run down the usual suspects:
How much does it cost? What can you expect? What does it look like?  When will it be available?

AT&T Hissy slaps Verizon with really bad attack ads
Verizon had somewhat of a successful ad campaign because they were being the voice for every person in America. They said AT&T's service sucks, and that's what we've wanted to be noticed. AT&T is done sulking in the corner and the company seems to have decided that the only thing to do in the short term is to start 'advertising' right back at Verizon. Unfortunately, the ads look like they have been put together overnight with supplies, like an orange board, a bucket of magnets, and an abandoned orphanage.

Modern Warfare 2 Video review - Gameplay and More
Watch on Youtube | Watch on Vimeo
Ricardo, Brandon, and Nick take some time to tear this game down to its roots in this original collaborative review - We explain everything.
Easily the most anticipated game of the year, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 had much to live up to. And usually hype kills a product - under achieving the expectations of old and new fans could potentially derail the game. How could Modern Warfare 2 outdo its predecessor when the original was considered to be perfect; perfect in both campaign and multi-player. I'll tell you how... by going so over-the-top that you would literally forget what even transpired in COD4. But does over-the-top translate into a good game?

Modern Warfare 2 Gets Dedicated Servers (via hack)
Activision wouldn't do it. So the PC hacking community has stepped up to give Modern Warfare 2 dedicated servers. You can see the hacked solution in action in the video above, complete with all the usual low gravity and insta-grenade mischief that prove Infinity Ward's matchmaking police have been well and truly removed. We give it less than 24 hours before Infinity Ward finds out about this... and then it will get nasty.

Microsoft Store employees dance for an akward 4 minutes
Whenever Microsoft tries to do something "Fun" or "Original" it always goes three ways. The first way is it turns out to be the most akward event anyone has ever witnessed, or maybe it completely trainwrecks in a horrible series of events, but sometimes it is all good, and it actually is fun! This time it was not. It was a mixture of the two first possibilities, and that's four minutes of 12 or so Microsoft employees dancing to some sort of dance mix, while everybody watches in horror and quietly minds their own business. We dare you to watch the whole thing. Do it!

Video: The perfect iPhone Clone - aPhone A6
No dumb dumb that is not an iPhone. It is in fact the aPhone A6 which is going to piss you off now, but wait till you hear the details. What are they? The GSM (EDGE only, no 3G) device sports a 3.5-inch LCD display with capacitive multitouch, 2 megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a super duper trackball! What we need it for, I do not know.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Review

Weekend Vids: The Sims, Roomba Pac-man, and Assassin's Creed: Lineage

The Sims come to life in a CollegeHumor made trailer of horrific proportions. It's no masterpiece, but it does the trick. I can't wait to see what they decide to use for the actual live action adaptation.

My friend's parents have a Roomba, and y'know, it's kinda cute - you almost treat it as a sort of pet. Well, one guy decided that wasn't enough.  He and a few others reprogrammed their hygienic buddy, more like 5 of them, and made them play Rommba Pac-Man.

Assassin's Creed 2 is due to release early next week, but you can get your fix early with the complete look at Assassin's Creed: Lineage. It's a stunning look at the events that unfold prior to the sequel's events done by the studio who did Sin City. Ubisoft really took the gloves off for this knock out punch of a marketing stunt.
Final Fantasy XIII Launches March 9th, 2010 for PS3/Xbox 360
Final Fantasy XIII is hitting Japanese shelves in mid-December, but when will North America see the newest iteration of the beloved series? This morning we got our answer thanks to a nifty video from Square Enix, as well as one other revelation. Besides setting March 9th, 2010 as the official release date, Square President John Yamamoto, announced that the NA version would not be getting the original main theme song, present in the Japanese game. Rather than getting Sayuri Sugawara's classical sounding "Kimi ga iru kara", we will be getting "My Hands" from Leona Lewis' upcoming album Echo. To be honest with you, I had never heard of Leona Lewis until the announcement. After looking her up I found out she was a winner on the X Factor (UK version of American Idol) a few years back, and that didn't really get me that pumped up for her Final Fantasy debut. You can actually here the theme here if you'd like. But I think I'm going to hold judgement until I see it playing in the game - sometimes time and place can be everything to a song.

Totilo defends Modern Warfare on MSNBC - Fox News runs Over SlashGamer blogger
Visit msnbc.com for Breaking News, World News, and News about the Economy
Two videos, two interview styles, and two completely different ways an uninformed audience can interpret Modern Warfare 2. On MSNBC, well spoken Kotaku Editor, Stephen Totilo (the same guy who got beat by Soulja Boy on Geometry Wars) came on and set the record straight about the most anticipated game of the year. His interview went so much better than Slashgamer's John Christensen's Fox News appearance.

Modern Warfare 2 Has Broken UK Sales Records
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has obliterated UK day-one sales record, previously held by Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto IV. War-hungry Brits snapped up a colossal 1.23 Million copies of the game, almost double that of GTA IV, which previously held the record at 613,000 sales.
I can't say I am surprised, considering the huge buzz around the title. Activision made plenty of noise in London last night at the launch party. Some stores opened at midnight with hundreds queuing up to get the game. Did you get yourself a copy?
Google Wave Review | Dislike stuff on Facebook - Ep 21
In this episode we are doing things a little differently -- First off we can see our Hosts faces on their camera using a neat little Web App called Adobe Connect Now which is free, and allows people to join in on a meeting complete with a whiteboard, webcams, and chat, also our audio is alot better. This week we talk about how to Dislike stuff on Facebook using a FireFox plugin, the iPhone coming to Verizon (Price Drops?) and Google Wave for virgins.

Video - HP "Create Amazing" commercial - tilt-shifts a smile
This commercial is very neat, and it makes us feel happy. The little people, cars and buildings are made to look like little toys using something called tilt-shifting which makes real life, look like a little toy city. The commercial takes us on a miniaturized tour through Shanghai, New York, Santorini, London, Istanbul, and some custom office sets built in L.A. It will tilt your heart strings and you will have a smile. Video after the break :)
Videos - New DROID commercials better than ever
These commercials will make a man out of you, or a robot. Verizon and Motorola strike back once again, but not with Independance day bombings, but with a very informative and guytastic new set of ads. Anyone with an ounce of testosterone will love these ads. In a world of doesn't, DROID claims to do stuff. Videos after the break!
Video - Touchscreen iMac and MacBook Demo
Just when we thought it was safe to say "I have the latest Apple product and there is nothing more awesome than it", it all falls apart -- in a good way. The snazzy little company with the unfortunate name of Troll Touch, have announced more of their award-winning touch screen kits for the 21.5-inch and 27-inch iMacs as well as unibody MacBooks. Everybody has always wanted a huge 27" tablet on steroids. Prices for the iMac kits themselves start at $1099, or you can order new machines with the kits pre-installed starting at $2299. Delivery slated to begin before December 1, 2009. Video after the break [...]
Video - Early Palm Pixi unboxing
Yay! WireFly has a new un-boxing video of the new Sprint brain-child the Palm Pixi. They have gone ahead and posted up the unboxing video a week ahead of official availability on the 15th. The phone is $100, so don't expect anything Jaw-Dropping. Video after the break!
Video - Sony Ericsson XPERIA commercial is awesome?
About a week ago, this ad was thrown out on the internet. Its an ad for Sony's new XPERIA, a more advanced flavour of the Ericsson. The commercial starts out with a fancy lady walking into a store which apparently sells running shoes, sunglasses and XPERIA's. She then gets distracted by the XPERIA, and takes it to a coffee shop/tailor boutique and shows off the flowing and sexy interface. It goes on and on, but this commercial is different, its really neat! Video after the break...
Verizon attacks AT&T - iPhone on island for misfit toys for Christmas
When we thought that the days of "there is a map for that" were over, but Verizon comes back with a 1-2 punch directed at AT&T, namely the iPhone. In the ad they take the iPhone and they put it on the island for misfit toys, featured in the 1964 Classic Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer. We would think Verizon would be done with the attack ads, since AT&T suing them, but they are sticking with it.

A look at Blog World Expo and The new Dial tone
I just recently moved back to my hometown of Las Vegas, and to be honest it's been a pretty hectic move. So in all the commotion I was completely unaware of the Blog World Expo happening right in my own backyard last month. The expo is all about bloggers, hence its name, and what it's really done to quote unquote "journalism" in the past few years.
The video is a short documentary by Marc Ostrick and Michael Sean Wright about this movement but within the confines of the expo itself. It's an interesting look at how we perceive audience and getting a voice, since everyone has that chance, but at the the end of the day only a few are actually heard. Blogging is still a "right place at the right time" sorta thing, but as mentioned in the video it's become more effective than having to go through a middleman to get your ideas out into the world. And rather than having it all just be a blip on the radar on the internet, or on communications as a whole, it's situating itself in our daily lives and paving the road for what we know as communication - hence the new dial tone reference.
So anyway, now that I know where the expo is at and when it's going on you can guarantee T3chH3lp will be there next year, blogging with our fellow brethren in the social media world.
