EPA whistleblowers on Cap and Trade
EPA lawyers Laurie Williams and Allan Zabel have stepped forward — two more whistleblowers calling out the EPA on their flawed agenda of Cap and Trade.
“she would have aborted me if it was legal”
Let me see if I understand the more “moderate” view of abortion, setting aside for the time being the extremely rare case where the mother’s life truly hangs in the balance.  I would like to consider the shibboleth of abortion should be illegal “except in cases of rape and incest.”  I would like to analyze [...]

The Black American Holocaust! Update...watch the video Maafa 21 all 14 parts on youtube
Let me see if I have this correct?

President Obama was elected with 95% of the black vote.

President Obama is staunchly pro-abortion, even voting down a partial-birth abortion ban while an Illinois state Senator.

Yet abortion kills more blacks than the 7 leading causes of death in the U.S.

Is there something fundamentally wrong here?  Why would someone support this massive holocaust, despite the fact that he is half African-American? Is he really a pragmatist, or is he the most liberal/progressive ideologue that has ever been elected as President?
Abortion kills more black Americans than the seven leading causes of death combined, according to data collected by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for 2005, the latest year for which the abortion numbers are available.
Abortion killed at least 203,991 blacks in the 36 states and two cities (New York City and the District of Columbia) that reported abortions by race in 2005, according to the CDC.  During that same year, according to the CDC, a total of 198,385 blacks nationwide died from heart disease, cancer, strokes, accidents, diabetes, homicide, and chronic lower respiratory diseases combined.  These were the seven leading causes of death for black Americans that year….Dr. Alveda King, niece of slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., is a pro-life activist. In August 2007 she told a meeting of Priests for Life that abortionists “plant their killing centers in minority neighborhoods and prey upon women who think they have no hope.”
“The great irony,” she said, “is that abortion has done what the Klan only dreamed of.”

He Lied about abortion too!
This video produced by American's United for Life reveals the lie of President Obama that abortion will not be covered under the health reform bills.  The fact is that funding for abortion is at the heart of their purposes in reforming healthcare.  Their website has much more on the issue.
A humorous look at the postmodern youth leader
Having been a youth leader for many years, I found this presentation quite humorous and frighteningly accurate.

Governments don’t tax for the money they need, they find a need for the money they get – Ronald Reagan
I found this audio presentation of Ronald Reagan very enlightening.  Ronald Reagan warned that the agenda of government run health care was merely a wedge issue to bring about socialism.
Stop the Abortion Mandate
This is from Stop the Abortion Mandate: Answering a Common Question Question: Won’t the Hyde Amendment and Capps Compromise  prohibit tax payer funded abortions? Answer:  On July 30, the House Energy and Commerce Committee added to H.R. 3200 an amendment written by staff to Chairman Henry Waxman (D-Ca.) and offered by Rep. Lois Capps (D-Ca.), both of whom have consistently pro-abortion career voting records. This “phony compromise” explicitly authorizes the “public plan” to cover all abortions. This would drastically change longstanding federal policy. This means that any citizen who wants to take advantage of the public plan will be compelled to purchase coverage for abortion on demand. The federal agency will collect the premium money, receive bills from abortionists, and send the abortionists payment checks from a federal Treasury account. It is a sham to pretend that this does not constitute funding of abortion. If this passes, the federal government will be running a nationwide abortion-on-demand insurance plan. Under H.R. 3200 as amended by the Capps Amendment, some private plans may elect not to include abortion, but private plans that cover elective abortion will be federally subsidized. Both bills provide funds for the new premium-subsidy program through a new funding pipeline that would not be subject to the Hyde Amendment, which is merely a year-to-year provision that currently prevents federal funding of abortions in the Medicaid program. As the Associated Press accurately reported in its August 5, 2009, analysis, “A law called the Hyde amendment applies the [abortion] restrictions to Medicaid . . . The [Obama-backed] health overhaul would create a stream of federal funding not covered by the restrictions.” Further, there is no doubt whatever that the Obama Administration would immediately use the Capps authorization to cover elective abortions in the public plan.  On July 17, 2007, Barack Obama appeared before the annual confer
Democratic health care = taxpayer funded abortion
An important action alert from the National Right to Life highlights the pro-abortion agenda that undergirds the democrat-sponsored health reform bills.  Here is an important portion: In the Senate, the White House is backing a bill (as yet unnumbered) sponsored by Senator Ted Kennedy (D-Ma.), which was approved on July 15 by the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee on a 13-10 party line vote.  The committee voted down all pro-life amendments, including an amendment offered by pro-life Senator Tom Coburn (R-Ok.) to prevent health care providers from being penalized for refusing to participate in providing abortions. "The Kennedy bill would result in the greatest expansion of abortion since Roe v. Wade," said NRLC Legislative Director Douglas Johnson.  "It would result in federally mandated coverage of abortion by nearly all health plans, federally mandated recruitment of abortionists by local health networks, and nullification of many state abortion laws.  It would also result in federal funding of abortion on a massive scale." In the House, the White House is behind H.R. 3200, which has been approved by three different committees.  All three committees voted down NRLC-backed amendments to prevent the bills from mandating coverage of abortions and to prevent federal subsidies for abortions, as only a few Democrats joined the minority Republican members in support of the amendments.  On the third panel, the House Energy and Commerce Committee, the pro-abortion side narrowly won adoption of a "phony compromise" amendment offered by Rep. Lois Capps (D-Ca.) (who has a zero percent career pro-life voting record) that would result in elective abortions being covered under the government-operated "public plan" the bill would create, and would allow federal subsidies to flow to private insurance plans that cover elective abortions.  The pro-abortion members of the committee voted down an NRLC-backed amendment offered by Reps
Who decides?
This is a fascinating video and highlights some of the problems that a government run system faces.  Who decides end of life issues?  Is it a government board?  Is it health insurance companies?  Or is it the individual in consultation with their doctor, friends and family?  Is it an issue of the “greater good” or is it a personal/familial issue between the individual and God?  Does the woman 99 year old woman in the video get the medical procedure and live those extra 5+ years or as President Obama indicates, does she just get a pain pill and dies whenever, because it is for the greater good and her life is not worth as much as someone younger?  What exactly is “waste” in the system and who will decide?  Are we getting perilously close to eugenics again as the “progressives” of the previous century desired?
Was I just being paranoid about healthcare?
I was beginning to think that I was just being paranoid.  I was thinking that the liberal left wanted to take over another 1/6th of the economy, but maybe I was just paranoid.  Then I saw this.  Decide for yourself.
The red pill or the blue pill? I believe our president needs to face reality and leave the socialist matrix.
Here is an important and excellent article that cuts through President Obama’s Matrix rhetoric. Here is a very important section: With his example of the red and blue pills, and another about whether a child's hypothetical tonsils should be removed, President Obama unwittingly presents the real problem with his plan for reform. Here is a well-meaning government official who so fails to grasp the problem in health care that he can present such absurd oversimplifications and suggest that this sort of thing is the real problem -- doctors simply lack the common sense to make obvious medical decisions. President Obama wants us to solve this problem by putting himself and other government officials in charge of rescuing medicine from the medical profession. If medical doctors with a decade of schooling cannot distinguish between good cures and ineffective ones that must be discontinued, then by gosh, we're lucky that the good folks from the government can. President Obama thus frames the issue as a false choice between doing nothing at all and handing over to Washington complicated, case-by-case medical decisions that cannot possibly be legislated or dictated by government. This transfer of medical authority to the bureaucracy is intended to curb costs. Unfortunately, there is exactly one thing that government can do to control costs in health care: it can insist on paying below cost. This shifts the cost burden to private insurance companies, which in turn pass along higher premiums to their patients. This is what government-run Medicare does today for many treatments, including cancer. Government will do more of this kind of "saving" when it assumes greater responsibility for funding citizens' health care, particularly if a government-option health care plan is established. Let’s tell president Obama and the house Democrats that we prefer free market solutions, tort reform, and clear unambiguous regulations that truly create better competition.  Does
