I Hate L.A.
Extremely profanity-laden stream of consciousness diatribe about L.A. courtesy of comedian Suzi Barrett, friend of Sarah Silverman (of course.). Suzi tries to convince her friend not to move here by telling her how "awful" it is, against the backdrop of total awesomeness that is my current city. "Fucking pleasant weather, fucking pretty houses, fucking pretty trees."
How To Get Killed By Your Cat
So these two crazy people work out with their mostly docile cat. My animal is about 10 pounds heavier and 60 x meaner. I would get about one rep out of her before being beheaded. Related funny: Gavin McInnes uses his ultra-cute babies for weight lifting.

Michael Emerson from Lost is Awesome
Michael Emerson, who plays the evil/maybe good Benjamin Linus, was on Jimmy Fallon last week. Emerson revealed that he was an illustrator before being an actor, and then he demonstrated why he is such a brilliant actor by reading, of all things, “Little Boy Lost.” Like his “Lost” performances, his reading was arch, humorous and darkly comic at the same time. Michael Emerson is awesome and is easily the best actor on the show, and possibly, all of the television. I love him
Amuse Bouche: The Best SNL Skit Yet?
It's got all the elements:
Tom Brokaw's deep, booming voice.
Tom Brokaw's scolding of the candidates.
My Friends!
McCain's references to Obama as anything but his name.
McCain's absentminded walking around the stage.
Obama's inability to speak faster. than. a few. words. at a. time.
Real or SNL Skit, You Decide
Here's an ad purporting to be from the National Rifle Association. Are we sure it's not a joke from the Saturday Night Live crew?

After all, they very nearly suggested the same thing this weekend:

Amuse Bouche: The Original "Lipstick on a Pig" Nonstory
What's Republican for "double standard?"

We'll give McCain credit where credit is due: 1. He said it first!
2. He actually used it to demean his female opponent.
Ghost from DNC's Past: JFK
Much has been made of the likeness of Obama to JFK. Watch for yourself.
P+P @ the DNC: We Do Our Version of Cribs
Chris Nelson, Torey Van Oot, and Sharifa Johka take you through their glamorous Denver digs.
That's it, baby! Let's go win this election!
Governor Brian Schweitzer (D-MT) is awesome.
Amuse Bouche: Barack and Hillary are Much Cuter As Kittens
This video, put together by Slate, features two adorable fluffy kittens running on a treadmill, set to voiceovers from Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. It's much better than watching the real thing.
Trace Crutchfield Is Unleashed at the Conventions
Jon Stewart isn't the only irreverent person to watch during the elections. Trace Crutchfield of Current TV is set on terrorizing the good people of St. Paul, Minneapolis and Denver during the nominating conventions, via his series, "Unconventionally Yours." Here's a peep.
Amuse Bouche: MoveOn.org Breaks Down Obama's Achilles Heel
This is a good point-by-point breakdown from MoveOn.org about why the Dems shouldn't be so sure that Obama is going to win. Most interesting fact: most of the candidates that were polling well in the summer, lost in the fall election.
