Video from Public Enemy’s show at Pitchfork Music Festival in Union Park in Chicago 07.18.2008. Some of it is blurry, but the show was awesome. They played all of “It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back” Prof. Griff and the SW1s were even there. PE @ Pitchfork Fest 07.18.2008 6030 WATCH THIS POST FOR MORE VIDEOS AS I GET THEM POSTED.

The 21" x 13" print can be purchased at my new store! store.thebigpugh.com This piece inspired the login illustration that vimeo commissioned from me for their redesign earlier this year; it is still in use throughout the site. The video is a condensed time lapse of screenshots over a several month period. Total physical drawing time is close to 40 hours and I'd add an equal amount of time for concept time and readying the print. A screenshot was ta

LP commented on Improv Anywhere 207 people freeze @ Grand Central station
It's the first time I see it, I just wonder why they did it, however it was an outstanding display of how so many people can get together. I have been to Grand Central, & to pull something like that it's amazing. So kudos to the one who came with the idea. Hope they do it again. I does made people think and take a step back and chill out, and realized that there are more in life than just rushing without without taking time to stop and smell the roses, thanks for reminding me to slow down, LP

Okamoto commented on TED Talk by Jill Bolte Taylor: My stroke of insight (video)
I read "My Stroke of Insight" in one sitting - I couldn't put it down. I laughed. I cried. It was a fantastic book (I heard it's a NYTimes Bestseller and I can see why!), but I also think it will be the start of a new, transformative Movement! No one wants to have a stroke as Jill Bolte Taylor did, but her experience can teach us all how to live better lives. Her TED.com speech was one of the most incredibly moving, stimulating, wonderful videos I've ever seen. Her Oprah Soul Series interviews were fascinating. They should make a movie of her life so everyone sees it. This is the Real Deal and gives me hope for humanity.

Woods commented on TED Talk by Jill Bolte Taylor: My stroke of insight (video)
The New York Times Sunday Newspaper on May 25 had a great two page article on Jill Bolte Taylor and her book, "MY STROKE OF INSIGHT". Her book is a must read and this NY Times article - called "A Superhighway to bliss" is worth checking out too.
