I found this over at Liberal Progressive Watch, when being Patriotic lived in your heart and was displayed through actions such as this. This is not how it is today. And the actions of Rick Monday of The Chicago Clubs is a prime example of what I am speaking.

I swiped this hysterically funny and I needed a good laugh from a friend.
As The Gaytheist Agenda warned, it’s not for the religiously sensitive - I just had to giggle laugh out loud again!  It really felt like I was watching a parody on Saturday Night Live.

This was definitely a heartfelt moment when Senator Obama accepted the flag lapel pin from the disabled Veteran in Pennsylvania.
The Senator based on his personal reasoning and set of principles had in the past chosen not to wear the ornament.
Yet, he gladly accepted from the spirit in which it was given and the respect, that he has for all the veterans.
Hopefully, others will see this and just simply let it be.
