[/caption]Jack is five months old today.  He has two teeth coming in (the bottom front two).  I can feel them poking up through the gum.This morning I was making him laugh by first putting on a very serious face and then suddenly laughing.  It cracked him up.Sleeping has been variable.  Some days he naps well, and other days... not so much.  Yesterday he took four cat naps (30 minutes or less), two of which were in the car.  A few days ago he had a 2.5 hour nap.  So you never know.  Lately he's been having a bit of trouble at the beginning of the night; he'll go to sleep ok, but wake up frequently.  Usually just a little soothing will get him back to sleep but sometimes we have to pull out the big guns:  Chris takes him in to our room and lies down with him on our bed til he's calm enough to go back in the crib.His passport arrived in the mail today.  The picture is pretty funny:  he is looking at the camera with his mouth wide open in surprise.Last Saturday we went out to dinner with him for the first time!  That was a lot of fun.Next week, we're starting a music class.Yesterday I took a video of him practicing his sitting. more about "Video: Jack sitting on Flickr - Photo...", posted with vodpod
