what people are saying

John McCain attempted to explain what he meant today when he said the fundamentals of the American economy are strong. After Obama criticized him for saying that, again, McCain decided to say that Obama was actually criticizing the American worker because that's who he was really talking about when he said "fundamentals."McCain: “The American worker and their innovation and their entrepreneurship, the small business, those are the fundamentals of America and I think they’re strong,”Obama hits back by saying it's nice that McCain now supports the American worker. He says he wishes McCain had cared about them in any of the other 26 years he spent in Washington.
