I'm reading Christless Christianity by Michael Horton, and it has some profound insights into the errors of modern American Christianity. He points out that when the Gospel is assumed, it becomes lost over time. Michael points out the confusion in emphasis on law vs. Gospel. Also he boldly states that fundamentalism and liberalism makes essentially the same error in focusing on works rather than Gospel. This is an eye-opening read that is a MUST for all Pastors as they deal with 2009's version of Christianity, which in larger part is Christless. Here's a video preview from Michael Horton:
So this doofus's definition of "Christless Christianity" is following the moral teachings of Christ rather than saying "Jesus died for me so that I can go blank my neighbor's wife and still go to heaven"? Fact is, he's got it backwards.
