Have loved Martha Stewart for years...but WHAT is she doing? Her new guest line up stinks...Snoop Dog? And her daughter's show is terrible...I can't force myself to watch it. P.S. Her daughter needs to put on a bra...she isn't 20 years old any more and it shows. Sorry....
And what's even better? It's her daughter Alexis (with Jennifer Koppelman Hutt) doing the ranking.Seriously. They sit and watch Martha on video and make fun at her expense. I wish my dad were famous, 'cause I could have such a good time doing this to him. It's called Whatever, Martha! And it's very funny. I of course have an illustrative clip.LINK And despite what you might think, Martha's in on the joke, so a)it's all just fine and a good time, b) the people posting on their site need to get over their faux outrage (it's our national sport these days, and c) new episodes air on Tuesdays, but yesterday's eps re-air tonight at 9 eastern and pacific on the Fine Living network.Do it, do it, do it.
Also, the sky is still blue.A while back, the MSTiverse was abuzz about the MST-inspired series concocted by Martha Stewart, in which her daughter and one of her underlings’ daughter poked fun at old footage of her TV series. Sounds like comedy gold, right? Right? No? Okay.Anyway, I just read Satellite News’ uncharacteristically biting review of the series, so I decided to look for footage of the recently-debuted show. I came across the above video, which doesn’t so much as inspire a smile, until perhaps the last line of the clip. Am I surprised? No, not really. If anything, I’m just a little ashamed that MST3K has to be even marginally associated with this. This is not MST3K. This is Lifestyles of the Shrill and Catty.
