This video of a keynote speech at a Web 2.0 Expo in the US by Clay Shirky (http://www.shirky.com/). He takes on the zeitgeisty idea (excuse?) of "information overload' and redefines the issue as a massive shift in how personal, social and technological filters are being challenged and outdated.
Despite the lecture format and uninspiring editing this video is worth viewing for the power of the ideas - clearly explained and great anecdotal examples - the description of the uni student who started a study group on Facebook and was prosecuted by his institution gets to the heart of some of the complicated aspects of virtual learning environments and collaboration.
