This segment left me wondering if perhaps all previous Presidential candidates haven't made a huge mistake by NOT choosing the Governor of Alaska as their VP.  Especially during the 'Cold War', who would have been more valuable to President Reagan than a Governor of Alaska.  With their foreign policy experience dealing with Russia during that tremendously tumultuous time in our history it seems crazy not to have chosen an Alaskan.In fact, I have to say in hindsight that it was incredibly irresponsible of any President during the Cold War to have NOT picked the Governor of Alaska as their VP.  The credentials are just off the charts.  Plus, they're near Canada too, which means you get DOUBLE the foreign policy experience!!! more about "The Daily Dish | By Andrew Sullivan", posted with vodpod
