Obama: Oops --What's his name again??? more about "RedState: RedHot", posted with vodpod

Anyone else notice this during the debate? McCain talked about a bracelet he received from the mother of Matthew Stanley to emphasize his commitment, which he has done in campaign stops for the last several months. Team Obama prepared for it, but Obama blew the delivery.more about "Obama Blows It.", posted with vodpodMCCAIN: And I'll tell you, I had a town hall meeting in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, and a woman stood up and she said, "Senator McCain, I want you to do me the honor of wearing a bracelet with my son's name on it." He was 22 years old and he was killed in combat outside of Baghdad, Matthew Stanley, before Christmas last year. This was last August, a year ago. And I said, "I will -- I will wear his bracelet with honor." And this was August, a year ago. And then she said, "But, Senator McCain, I want you to do everything -- promise me one thing, that you'll do everything in your power to make sure that my son's death was not in vain." That means that that mission succeeds, just like those young people who re-enlisted in Baghdad, just like the mother I met at the airport the other day whose son was killed. And they all say to me that we don't want defeat. A war that I was in, where we had an Army, that it wasn't through any fault of their own, but they were defeated. And I know how hard it is for that -- for an Army and a military to recover from that. And it did and we will win this one and we won't come home in defeat and dishonor and probably have to go back if we fail. OBAMA: Jim, let me just make a point. I've got a bracelet, too, from Sergeant - from the mother of Sergeant Ryan David Jopeck, given to me in Green Bay. She asked me, "Can you please make sure another mother is not going through what I'm going through?"Obama point is a valid one. Not all mothers agree on Iraq; Cindy Sheehan being the most prominent example. However, Obama fumbled. He obviously must not have committed the soldier’s name to memory. He had to look down at his bracelet to remember the name. McCain didn’t have to

LOL and how many times did McCain stumble through his dialogue? If you are using this as proof of something, your candidate's performance last night must be weak.
The McCain Campaign is damn quick….this new commercial was ready and released before the debate was over! And about that debate…..and Obama’s repeated lies about Henry Kissinger supporting Obama’s position about never having pre-condidtions before meeting with the likes of Chavez and the Little Gnome from Iran:Henry Kissinger believes Barack Obama misstated his views on diplomacy with US adversaries and is not happy about being mischaracterized. He says: “Senator McCain is right. I would not recommend the next President of the United States engage in talks with Iran at the Presidential level. My views on this issue are entirely compatible with the views of my friend Senator John McCain. We do not agree on everything, but we do agree that any negotiations with Iran must be geared to reality.”Obama can’t remember the soldier’s name on his bracelet!I’m surprised more hasn’t been made of this in the debate coverage, but it’s something that should hit everyone on a personal level, demonstrating what a insincere person Obama really is.  Michelle Malkin also mentioned the same debate incident on her blogg, as did Mary Katharine Ham in a post at the Weekly Standard. His answer was farrogant and completely lacking in sincerity and his gesture embarrassing…showing him to be the programed candidate he is.
