I thought that a little history lesson was in order. We need to be reminded that McCain was one of the main advocates for the war in Iraq. This is one of the reasons he has no choice but to keep saying stay until victory. It matters little to him that Gen. Petraeus (one of his selected confidants) already stated that victory is not a term you can ever equate with our mission in Iraq. As Obama said in the debates McCain was one of the biggest cheerleaders for the needless war we are currently fighting.
