Thank you Congressman Davis for stepping up and admitting you were wrong.  Some honesty goes a long way to calming the anger many Americans feel.  Both sides need to admit their error and their hardheadedness.  Republicans were wrong about not regulating the financial institutions more and the Democrats for not regulating Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac more.  More of them should swallow their pride, admit their error and then work to fix it at the root of the problem.Pelosi was wrong to declare that Democrats had no responsibility in this mess....clearly they did, but so did the Republicans.
