This talk was a bit long with the last half much better than the first half, and a lot of unnecessary stuff in the first half. But you do need the first half to better appreciate and understand the last half, and I wouldn't have it in my VodPod site if I wouldn't recommend it.

Philip Zimbardo was the leader of the notorious 1971 Stanford Prison Experiment -- and an expert witness at Abu Ghraib. His book The Lucifer Effect explores the nature of evil; now, in his new work, he studies the nature of heroism.
