It's really very simple ... All you gotta do is kill the man who purportedly killed the Assistant DA's brother (the "win friends" part), although you know that you did the deed while trying to kill that same drug dealer to quench your thirst for ... (ominous "dum dum duuuum" organ music) muhr-dherrr! Oh, and it helps if you do the clean up the body, too. Plausible deniability in its most pure form, the Assistant DA really doesn't know where the body is buried. So, that's what's been happening in the six days and 24 hours since you last saw Dexter. And tonight? Well, you know how Dexter doesn't have many friends by design? Well, Prado the DA has thrown not just a wrench but a whole toolbox into the works. His wife is systematically endearing herself to pregnant Rita (they've become phone friends) and Miguel won't let Dex have a minute to himself, and there's an especially bad baddie Dex has in his sights. How can you find the time to plunge sharp objects into evil strangers when the DA is all up in your grill, anyway? I'm tellin' ya, Prado has plans for Dexter. I don't think he knows what he's dealing with, however. It should be fun seeing how it plays out. Jimmy Smits has been a great addition this season, but the whole cast deserves mad praise from critics. This is a very deep supporting cast -- David Zayas is consistently good and often last season just broke your heart, Jennifer Carpenter is gonna be a star and C.S. Lee may be the most underrated of the cast as perverted Vince Masuka the forensics expert.I also like the guy who's playing Debra's informant this season. His name is David Ramsey and you probably saw him last on the Starz original Hollywood Residential (or you didn't because you have more of a life than I do). He's back tonight also, and I don't know this for a fact, but I would betcha that Debra ends up in his bed before the end of the season. You might also remember him working with Smits in 2006 on The West Wing.In on tonight on Showtime.
