I wish I could say that I was stunned by the ignorance demonstrated here. But, alas, I actually expected worse. I live with the consolation that 65% of the voters will hail from more progressive metrolitan areas than this horrible backward place.
It is almost amusing at the ignorance of these ridiculously close minded people. For the really "smart" lady that says that Obama hates white people and thinks they are trash, where has she been???? Does she not realize he has just as much white heritage as he does black? It is funny to me that he is only considered black to these people when he is equally both races! It is truly sad how little progress has really been made in this country. It makes me wonder if they didn't have the fact that Obama sat on a board with a "terrorist" what would they be using against him? Do they even care what he can do for us in this country?
The reason why it hurts my feelings are that these people aren’t even bothering to figure out what the truth is. And they are still racist. Isn’t racism a thing of antiquity? I certainly thought so.Crazy gas prizes and ridiculous cost of living aside, sometimes I am mighty glad I live in a metropolis.

Who created this anger, insecurity - this ignorance? Conservative Republican policy and dogma. It's as if they can't control their Frankenstein. The half-wit Bush has done stuck the "Abby Normal" brain in and doesn't understand what's awry.
As the US presidential campaign enters its final weeks, both the Republican and Democratic candidates are hitting the swing states.
But misconceptions and rumours abound and many voters have their facts about the candidates all wrong. Some believe that Democrat Barack Obama is a Muslim, for instance.
Casey Kauffman talked to some Republican supporters after a rally by Sarah Palin, the Republican vice-presidential candidate, in Ohio (13 October 2008).
Nothing like some right wing religious racism to show the greatness of our nation.Damn these people are just plain ignorant.Remember, people, McCain said it last night, he is very proud of these people who make up the bulk of his base. I'm also sure they cherry pick these kind of racist towns to send Barbie to which highlight the only theme McCain has left, win by hate is nothing else is left.I have only a few words for some of these people. Just do us all a favor and just hurry up and die. more about "Misconceptions of Obama fuel Republic...", posted with vodpod
I've had so much faith in the goodness and intelligence of Americans that I literally didn't think this kind of hatred and ignorance still existed.
It makes my blood run cold.
It's terrifying to see someone who touts herself as a regular old Joe Six Pack soccer mom unleashing the genie of hatred that has apparently been lying dormant within uneducated pockets of our country.
I don't know how Sarah Palin and her campaign strategists will be able to live with themselves if any harm comes to Barrack Obama or his family.
In the swing state of Ohio, the God fearing pinktoes are scared sh*tless of a “Negro” becoming president because “if he wins, the Blacks’ll take over his is a Christian nation! What is our country gonna end up like?!”– Ignorant ho. {bossip.com} I THINK EVERYONE FORGETS THAT OBAMA IS HALF-WHITE
