Oh how time has changed for John McCain. His mind seems less lucid than when he ran in 2000. This truly is a changed man because up until recent years he believed in taxing the wealthy. Sound familiar? That's what he's attacking Obama on now. As it turns out, he's a socialist according to his own definition of one

When McCain was advocating the same policy as Obama it was a good idea; but, now since he has obviously turned his back (flip-flopped) on the idea for the sake of winning an election, it is now socialism.  Right. It's no wonder McCain still thinks Barbie was a great choice for V.P. He's almost as much of a blithering idiot as she is.

The video above shows the John McCain I thought Barack Obama would have a tough time defeating. Luckily, it looks the Rovian/Bush machine convinced McCain to adopt their positions in an effort to shore up a shrinking base. The “Maverick-ness” that made Sen. McCain so appealing seems to have faded considerably. Even as an Obama supporter I believe we must radically change the way our candidates campaign. By the end of elections our candidates have changed so much it’s hard to know who or what we are voting for. It reminds me of friends I have that ended up downgrading to Windows XP after trying Vista. It would serve Sen. McCain well to downgrade back to Maverick version 1.0. Sure it may be too late, but it would be better to take a loss with the dignity and grace of a Maverick.Thanks to dKos and Jed L for the video.
