I'll agree Bush has been a disaster, but I foresaw this coming based on his past business practices-- he consistently made poor decisions and relied on others to bail him out. His plans may have sounded good, but I think it's obvious that you can't take any politician based on their word, only their past records. That's why I'm proud I can say I voted against Bush both times in the past. This time when I look at the candidates' pasts I see one who as a 25-year long established voting record in the US Senate known for voting stand up against his own party and who is also an established war hero. And another whose past consists of a legal career that almost exclusively represented special interest groups, 7 years in the Illinois Legislature which consisted almost entirely of voting "present" and not establishing a clear voting record on issues, and a short period in the US senate where he spend most if it running for president. Based on McCain's voting record, there's nothing to suggest he'd keep doing the things, not even his supposed voting record of voting with Bush 90% of the time (Bush doesn't have a vote in the senate, so the idea of voting with Bush consists of voting for something he hasn't publicly opposed, going by that statistic Obama's not much better-- he just get away with it because he never publicly mentioned and voting similarities with Bush). Yet somehow, Ron Howard knows with so much certainty that only Obama will actually fix things based his charming speeches with vague promises of change but no proven leadership, while McCain will keep on doing the same and we're supposed to believe Howard doesn't have a political bias? He might have convinced me if he had brought up actual examples of Obama's leadership, rather than just saying we can't keep doing the same thing over and over again. Considering our current situation was brought up by Bush's irresponsible spending which is more consistent with that of Obama's plans, how can we expect change from Obama?

If you’re a baby boomer or if you like old TV shows like me, you’ll love this video. Watch Ron Howard, Andy Griffith and Henry Winkler voice their support for Barack Obama. There’s nothing like seeing Opie, Andy Griffith, Richie Cunningham and the Fonz come together to rally for change! more about “E! Online [...]
OMG Becky. Whereas pop culture TV is concerned, this is like the Beatles getting back together. If you don’t know what that means, go away. Old men humilating themselves for, if some are to be believed, an anti American, fringe candidate. Taking good wholesome old people TV shows and twisting them for the vast left wing [...]
