Does this really need to be spelled out to people? Outside of the yahoos and Bush's 20 whatever percent that think we are on the right path, who the heck else want to keep traveling this road of destruction?I am sure that some of the rich and some of the major corporations (you know the guys we just finished bailing out) may think this is smart politics for their benefit but we far out number them and should know this is not working. There is not one difference from what Bush's policies are from what McCain is promoting (except that McCain's policies are on steroids). Hm...must be one of the reasons McCain is trying to make this into a personality contest versus dealing with the issues. If he told the truth how many of his sorry yahoos would still be talking stupid? more about "More of the Same", posted with vodpod
By Ari Melber The only thing more damaging to John McCain than Keating Economics is Bush Economics. That's the idea behind a devastating new attack ad that the DNClaunched Sunday. To kick off the last full week before the election,Democrats are stressing McCain's firm support for Bush's economicpolicies with a web ad featuring a fleet of senior McCain surrogates. Some took to the TV studios to tout McCain's Bush-like approach totaxes and growth, while others are shown, cornered and empty-handed,when asked to name a single economic issue on which McCain disagreeswith the President. "McCain's own surrogates have repeatedly said thatJohn McCain would continue President Bush's economic policies,"explains the DNC, so the video just brought all the documentary footagetogether in one spot. The ad's ending is priceless, as Gov. Mark Sanford flails and fails tooffer a single contrast between McCain and Bush on the economy. Brieflyand meekly, he floats NAFTA, but then concedes that example is moreabout "consistency." You almost feel for him, unless you recall that heonly looks bad because he is awkwardly, consciously dissembling withouta scrap of evidence. Just like his candidate.
