The Obama campaign released a compelling ad about John McCain's statements on the economy and a particular eye to his judgement. more about "New Obama Ad: His Choice", posted with vodpod
Great ad. It's sad, but it has to be said. McCain's judgement is severly impaired if he thinks, even for a second, that Palin is somehow qualified to be president.
Other than that, we do need a president who understands economics, and won't keep trying to do the same thing while expecting a different result.
Well played--someone had to say it without blatantly hurting people's feelings. Obama's campaign has put up impressive ads, this one tops them all. I think Palin thought it would be a joy ride!!!
This is Obama's new ad. There are no words in this ad but it makes a very strong point.Back a few months ago McCain had admitted that he would have to pick a VP that had economic knowledge (I'm giving him a pass on needing someone with Foreign policy knowledge since McCain is well versed in that subject). But who does McCain pick? Empty headed Barbie who has no knowledge in any category (BS on her pretend energy knowledge). more about "Obama Ad Uses Winking Palin (VIDEO)", posted with vodpod

Just as Team McCain tries to get traction with last minute attacks on Obama over his lack of executive experience (ignoring the fact that McCain has no executive experience either), this ad puts McCain back on the defensive over this issue by finally going there: Sarah Palin. That's right, after being hands-off on Palin for the entire campaign, in the waning days it makes the argument that a majority of Americans completely agree with: Sarah Palin is not ready. But it still does so surgically, by tying her to McCain's own lack of expertise in economic matters. By combining fear of a Palin presidency with McCain's admitted lack of economic expertise, Team Obama makes it plain that McCain-Palin is the wrong choice. From an execution standpoint, the ad gets your attention by letting its text speak for itself, without narration. Most of the text is composed of self-incriminating quotes from McCain. Very effective.
