Barack Obama is on a roll, booking out 30-minute slots on seven major US TV networks in a historical election marketing move. Aired on Wednesday October, 30, it raked in the viewers and is racking up the views on the top tubes as well. The broadcast cost his campaign $3 million, which may sound a lot but is little when considering that in September alone he raised $153 million and spent $106 of it. Now that’s called spreading it!
It’s time people. It’s obvious from the pic above who I’m supporting, but it’s still crazy to me how many people I deal with on a daily basis that support Obama as much as I do didn’t get registered or vote. I don’t understand the logic. It’s like it was the “cool thing” to be for Obama, but REALLY, where does that get you? Popularity? Acceptance? From who?I’m not someone who goes around debating right wingers (that’s a whole task on its own), but being you’re given the right to choose who’s going to run our country for the next 4 years I think you have an “obligation” to go out and make yourself heard as I did considering how bad of shape our country is in. I’ll be glued to the TV tonight Posted in Random
