Ok, are there any other reasons needed to vote for Barack Obama? Cheney endorsing McCain is the equivalent of the devil himself telling you how to vote. I cannot believe the "handlers" did not tell him to keep his mouth shut. But, I am glad they didn't. So, Barack Obama has Warren Buffet and Colin Powell as big endorsements. McCain now has Bush and Cheney. Enough said.Salon hits on this as well. They call it the "Coveted Dick Cheney Endorsement". They are saying Barack Obama and Dick Cheney are similiar in positions. They state (Again, from Salon):"Barack Obama and Dick Cheney aren't just cousins, they have shared support for the Bush energy policy and the out-of-control spending that John McCain has fought to oppose," spokesman Tucker Bounds e-mailed reporters. (The e-mail included a handy fact sheet, citing an Obama speech in Iowa in January as the source to note Obama and Cheney's distant family ties.) Apparently the idea was to persuade voters that Cheney and Obama have more in common than Cheney and McCain. Ok, so no we have been told by the McCai
