This is so cute :D !more about "Virtual Lego Fashion Show", posted with vodpodvia:designrelated.com
LEGO's Spring/Summer 2009 collection was reminiscent of two designers: Vivianne Westwood and Heatherette. Why LEGO decided to show Spring fashion during Resort season is anyone's guess, but I was surprised Anna Wintour even attended (and seemed to be smiling no less), especially considering the designer's tardiness that rivaled Marc Jacobs' infamous scene last year.Choosing to be all-out pomp and glitz, LEGO's runway was even a Pride Flag, perhaps reminding us of the latest Civil Rights challenges of the LGBT community. Though it appeared to be Amish clouds that opened the show, so the statement wasn't fully intact. The material was nothing less than mined from the 80s and 90s of Westwood's creations (especially the clown garment near the end of the show), but with all the sad overdone and stale attitude of Heatherette. Let's just be glad there weren't roller skates on the models, as their bodies looked like they could barely stand the walking.Sure, it was a bouncy and optimistic show, but I doubt retailers and collectors are going to find much in this ready to wear collection. Very disappointing.more about "LEGO Spring/Summer 2008", posted with vodpod
