I was first interested in this vid because Shepard Smith actually defends Obama from the false notion of media favoritism, but now I'm wondering, what the hell is this? You've got 6 people crowded uncomfortably around this table in what looks like closet space. One journalist and one commentator on the right hand side. On the left hand is some college-aged geeky looking guy (an intern?) sitting next to another commentator. Next to him the only female perched above the others so she can be seen in this sea of masculinity. And finally in the center, Ernest Hemingway apparently came back from the dead to have a drink or two with these guys. This video I think is going to give me nightmares.
Mind you the main objector to the philosophy being discussed regarding the media being in the tank for President Obama is Shepard Smith who works for Fox Fake News. And to work for Fox you have to have right wing leanings (or at least fake it well) and you can't get too much further into the right wing section then that without being a complete yahoo.I would also note that President Obama ran a very smart positive campaign. Needless to say the same can not be said regarding McCain's campaign strategy. If anything, what can be gleaned from the press coverage is that they respond to favorable positive strategies more than to confused, erratic and nasty ones. more about "Shepard Smith: What media bias?", posted with vodpod
