I Am proud to be American again I was out out of the country last week and I had people from around the world coming up to me praising our new President, one that shows respect for the American People and the World. I hope and pray we can all work together as a people and put millions back to work on jobs the includes ability to feed therir families and pay house notes and medical insurance for their families. I see so much pain and suffering in my business and I am now hopeful again.

In his Democratic Radio Address over the weekend, President-elect Barack Obama discussed his plans to put people back to work and get our economy moving again. Obama has directed his economic team to assemble an Economic Recovery Plan that will save or create 2.5 million more jobs by January of 2011. Check it out above. (more…)

This positive energy is so strenghthening to our energy of the World. There were so many Negitive comments yelled out for two years and to finally have the one that tried to quail the Fear that has been instilled in us from 9/11 is so refreshing. I only wish the best to our New First Family Elect and that the prayers of those that have that Faith Go up, to give wisdom for each discision our New Leader must make in our behalf. It is a Heavy burden and the people on you tube and all the other sights on this wonderful tool should WAKE-UP and listen and add to the Good Energy of our collective power we have in the universe. Don't you feel that we have a responsibility to stand behide this New Prez. Elect and not crucify him? Some of you that are Haters should listen to yourselves and how they really sound.God Bless America. This man loves the flag our country and only wants the best for us.
Peace!

If the new president follows through with even half of what he said then thats great. What bothers me about most people is they are focusing only on his words and being naive that he is actually going to accomplish all he has set out to do. Every president since I have been old enough to vote has said one thing and done another. He wont be any different. Your comment about this man loves the flag, well apparantly you havent heard that he doesnt put his hand over his heart and doesnt even acknowledge the flag when the national anthem is played.
PINKO DAILY BRIEFS: Andrew sparked a little firestorm over his what-the-hell-Hillary-hatred. I’ll have more on this later today but my quick take is maybe a little surprising: I think it’s fine. Everything so far … all the appointments and names floated etc. … it’s all fine, Hillary included. I’ll get into that more later. First, a few great reads for your Sunday. Who is Bush going to pardon? Dafna Linzer has a great rundown at Slate: Linzer rates everyone from Marion Jones to Martha Stewart with a rating sscale from zero to four “Get of Jail Free” cards.Another piece from Slate but a friend flagged an article on an interesting topic: Does religion make you nice? We’re all about nice at Pinko … this piece might tell you the best way to get there. My friend Christine has outdone herself with this survey of writer George Stewart’s career, focusing extensively on his book “Names on the Land: A Historical Account of Place Naming in the United States.” I grew up on Greathead Court so the topic has always fascinated me. Read on for more and a very deft Donner Party joke.In case you missed it and assuming you’re obsessed with Barack Obama’s logo, Steven Heller did an interview with the creator of the Obama “O.” It’s a great Q & A. Finally: bad day to be a kid who just wanted to hug a panda.  More later on the Obama transition, the Green Festivals, and if we can get it in today a long-awaited gay marry it … or abort it. Tell us in the comments if religion makes you nicer!Oh! In case you missed it, here is Barack Obama’s short but interesting “fireside chat” that looks towards some much-needed public works programs (sounds like a new new deal to me) to get the economy moving.

Kudos to our new President that is thinking progressively regarding getting our current economy back on track. Its an ambitious plan to commit to putting over 2 million people back to work.  I fully understand that his plan is ambitious and will take time, but it beats doing nothing (Bush). more about “Your Weekly Address from the Presiden…“, posted with vodpod
