Today January 16, 2009 marks the 30th Birthday of one of my favorite female R&B artists, "Aaliyah" Dana Haughton. I will never forget the day when I found out Aaliyah was killed in that awful plane crash. I had just finish running three miles with my military unit at Keelser Air Force Base in Mississippi. When I walked into my apartment and tuned the TV station to CNN, that's when I saw the news as I was in disbelief. So in memory in Aaliyah I am asking each of you to just pause for 1 minute of silence and pay tribute to the great iconic legend we lost, know as Aaliyah.
