MORE ROBBIE! YES!!! Robbie has hundreds of thousands of fans in the U.S.! I've always suggested that a HUGE one time only show, such as his Knebworth show, here in The States would be much more than a complete success. Those of us who are Robbie's fans would be willing to pay just about ANY price they asked for tickets!!! There's nobody else in the world who compares to his eclectic sound, his wit and his devilishly good looks!
I am on an unending mission to convert as many Americans as possible to become Robbie Williams fans, so we can all push him to tour closer to the United States than Mexico City. It would be so cool if he could headline the Virgin Festival next year, or God could really love me and he could do Bonnaroo, because he supposedly has become a secret country fan (no joke). So here is his most arrogant song, and also the most self-deprecating song, because he likes to play the whole “I’m The Biggest C*&^ in England” role. This is from a TV show that he actually produced in homage to a bunch of Elvis’ best moments on TV. That image made him one of the most favorite subjects of the Brit tabs at the time, and there’s a lot of money for folks who end up on the Daily Mail (better known as my secret favorite website at http://dailymail.co.uk that I always try to read daily,) But now he’s now actually had the same girlfriend for a year or so now, and is actually happy (and unabashedly paunchy at the moment — happiness appears to have kept him out of the gyms for a bit.) He’s supposedly going back to his roots on his next album and hopes to have a new “Angels”-type anthem on there. I really hope he doesn’t try to out-Take That the current Take That success. Yes, “Rule The World” is going to be a classic for years in Britain. But two years ago, Robbie was still the best selling pop star in the world. All he has to do is go back to worked with him in “Intensive Care”, which is overall my favorite Robbie album. If only for these two songs.Ghosts It’s Only UsBut some of of my fave Rob tracks are the songs that toe the line at being a bit too racy for radio. Like his ode to strip clubs. WARNING: maybe a little NSFW, and unless you want to explain to a kid what “tits” are, you may want to not have the kids listening.Forever TexasBe as happy and in love as you seem in the pics, Rob. But for goodness sake, don’t go gushy bombastic as “Greatest Day”, which is Take That’s savvy ploy t
I got a bit of good news today. First off, Robbie Williams has a new website that isn’t horrible. It’s not built entirely in crappy, flashy Flash, it doesn’t cost me $50 to get access to the good stuff, and there’s even SOCIAL MEDIA in there. It almost makes me cry tears of joy.
