In October 2006 I was working simultaneously at Fallon's London offices (for Hyper) and at Tonic, so I had a very good view of what was going on around the Bravia "Paint" film.
My friend Leo had an even better view; we managed to persuade Sony to let Leo take a bunch of bloggers onto the Glasgow set to drum up a little pre-launch buzz.
Everything was going well until Jonathan Glazer (the director) spotted the bloggers pottering around, and forced them (and Leo) off set. He was furious about the fact that his film wouldn't have a clean launch.
The next day, it seems, he came storming onto the set shouting "who put my rushes on YouTube?" At which point, someone quietly pointed to the throngs of young neds standing around filming the (public, open) set with their mobile phones. This is one of those pieces of content.
