He is a self-proclaimed cultural exorcist and styles himself as a cult figure. His personal interests which inform his work are comic books, horror films, medieval crusades and outsider art. In his self-portraits, he exaggerates his real-life "wild-man" features. His paintings envision the future as a post-Armageddon landscape.
