what people are saying

I downloaded Windows 7 beta.  I have not burned it to a DVD yet.  Those of you that have been following me on the blog know what is going to happen now.  I am going to install Windows 7 on my computer and mess everything up.  I will end up having to format and start all over again with Windows XP.  You could bet money on it.   If you get the beta version of Windows 7 it will stop working in August of 2009.  You can not upgrade it.  So you will have to start over.  First Windows 7 beta puts fresh face on Vista – The Register   “…feels faster than Windows Vista…drivers designed for Windows Vista seem to work fine…changes to the shell…the taskbar, desktop and Explorer…Windows 7 has a new ‘homegroup’ concept that sets up simple sharing between home computers…This is Windows Vista with a new face, not a new versions of Windows.” Chris Pirillo on Windows 7 beta
