Wonderful. It’s been around a while - but worth remembering the value of creativity.Posted in Do schools kill creativity, Sir Ken Robinson, TED Talks, TED.com
In an amusing and insightful talk, Sir Ken Robinson makes a great case of how our schooling only prepares us for university and sucks the creativity out of us in the process because it cultivates intelligence at the cost of everything else when we know intelligence is hardly the end all and be all. He argues why creativity should be valued as much as anything else and probably more, and how if often arises out of cross-pollination of experiences so you don't just see something the way everyone else does. Very convincing and in line with my beliefs as well.
Sir Ken Robinson makes an entertaining and profoundly moving case for creating an education system that nurtures (rather than undermines) creativity.
