I’ve decided to post more and write less more about myself in each one, so that this gets updated more and so things that might not be appreciated in what about 10 Tweets says.Anyway, this is a bit all about me, because I am an American and a news professional who is sincerely tired of talking about the Inauguration, so I’m changing the topic. And my new topic is, “Things that make me glad I check my YouTube Favorites before bed.”And it’s shameless and I don’t care. I need to laugh. This is the skit that pretty much encapulates the characters (or at least the comedy writing talents) of Ant and Dec.When I spend 10 minutes with idle thoughts after work, wondering how much of their routine was built on Robbie Williams’ pre-Rudebox press clippings fills more than it should. Oh, and the backstory for the skit and what they’re referencing at the end is here, in one of the beautifully written Wikipedia entry who are either paid well or much bigger geeks than I. Basically, Ant and Dec had left SM:TV a year before this and had become huge British presenters for “I’m A Celebrity” and “Pop Idol” before coming back for Cat Deeley’s final SM:TV show (she now hosts the US version of “So You Think You Can Dance?”) Share and Enjoy:
