by No CompromiseA friend of mine and I are having a disagreement right now. He claims that America is a democracy,  and I claim America is a Republic using a Republic form of government.  This little friend to friend debate came about because of his article, Obama and the Birth of Mobocracy in America.   I will also state that I am in agreement with most of the substance of his commentary, however , I took issue with his statement that:  “Now the elections are over, and the government must run through democratic processes. Democracy is the rule of law. In a ‘true’ democracy, people elect their representatives and leave them to run the government. In democracy, people do not directly intervene in the running of the government. Their participation begins and ends at the ballot box. What happens when people constantly get involved in the process of the government? Then we don’t have democracy, the rule of representative government, but ochlocracy, the rule of the ‘mob,’ the mobile vulgus. In ochlocracy, “Might is right,” and bullies rule the political process.”I have several issues with those two paragraphs!” Before I expound on this controversy, I will say that unless Americans wake up to the theft of their Republic form of government,  America will end up in mob rule.  There is no doubt about that! Today,  Americans have been convinced that they live in a democracy by the spreading of deliberate disinformation and post modern redefinitions of terms.  We must use the right terms and the right definitions and the best place to get those is from the Founding Fathers and not a modern dictionary or wikipedia which conforms with the contemporary whims and conditioning of the writers!Also, there is an excellent video below that explains exactly where democracy leads and if what we are seeing in America does not convince you that our Republic is in grave peril,  you are a lost sheep.  We never want to advocate the use of a democracy in anyway shape, or form because it will led to Cit
