The Alex Jr. High girls basketball team took on Rush Springs on 11-11-08. Although Alex held a decent lead throughout the game, the mistakes of the young players allowed Rush to threaten as the final seconds clicked off the clock. With Alex two points ahead, Ann snatches the ball from the opposing player and smoothly hits a basket to put the game out of reach.
