One of the biggest complaints leveled against Mirror's Edge on release was that the game's Parkour-style action would work much better from a third-person view than the game's traditional first-person style. This newly-released modification for the PC version however, may have some wondering the wisdom of that claim.Even without faulting this version of ME for its lack of professional level animation -- an unrealistic expectation in an amateur hack like this -- pulling the camera behind Faith doesn't really extend your field of view much.Assuming we view this as a simple proof-of-concept, does this hack entice any of you? Are you now hoping that MEs inevitable sequel might offer a behind-the-shoulder mode as well as (or instead of) the classic first-person?If you need more help deciding, there's another picture and video clip of the hack below.Images: Electronic ArtsSee Also:Review: Mirror's Edge, the First-Person Parkour Game You Must Play ...Mirror's Edge Trilogy PlannedGame|Life Video: Mirror's Edge vs. Prince of Persia -- Fight ...Mirror's Edge DLC Officially ScheduledMirror's Edge Demo Jumps to Your ConsoleFirst-Person Jumper: Mirror's Edge Revolutionizes Platforming ...Mirror's Edge Makes the Jump to ComicsVideos: Mirror's Edge Gameplay
