Many of us struggle with our multiple personalities: We behave one way with people we don’t know, another way with those who know us well, still another way at work, and so on. Moreover, we constantly choose which parts of ourselves to share with others. Rarely are we truly consistent in all contexts; we frequently discern which "self" will be most effective in different situations.
