Sometimes you just have to give pop music a chance. The radio is full of crap today, but everyone once in a while a refreshing song comes along that I really enjoy. This is one of them:Knock it all you want, but I usually enjoy Kelly Clarkson’s music. This song especially just puts me in a good mood.While were on the subject of pop, heres another artist worth mentioning. If you know me well, I think you can guess who it is.I like this song especially because it shows Katy Perry can actually sing, really well. Her singles keep getting progessively better. I Kissed a Girl was good for what it was. Then of course, radio killed it. Hot N’ Cold was really catchy and a decent song. Again, radio killed it. The new song Thinking of You is her best song hands down in my opinion. It shows that shes not just some hack like Britney Spears or the Pussycat Dolls. She has talent, and can produce good music with strong lyrics. She ain’t just about kissing girls. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.     Boom.Well, now Lil Wayne has caught the Kanye West bug and has ventured out of the rap genre. Weezy now thinks he can play rock music. Heres the first single from the new album to be realeased in April. Titled Prom Queen:This does not look promising. To be fair, when Kanye West’s single Love Lockdown first came out I didn’t like it, at all. However, the song eventually grew on me and the album 808’s and Heartbreak turned out to be really good. So maybe this Wayne rock album has a chance.It seems these days the entire world is in love with Lil Wayne and I’m sure this album will be a monster hit. He can sell anything. If he came out with a cereal called Weezy Flakes, it would certainly become the best selling breakfast of all time. I was never a fan of Lil Wayne’s rap like I am of Kanye’s.
