ive been in personal contact with dennis stanford on 050309 and anyone who still supports clovis first model in the last 5 years the number of pre clovis sites have not only increased but atleast right now the trend also seemms to be that not only are the number of pre clovis sites on the rise but at some of theese new sites as we delve deeper were also finding artifact assemblages at depths in the earths crust that just a few years ago would have sounded rediculous and downright overachieverish, at meadow croft pa at 21 feet we are still finding artifacts associated with what else but human habitation, not sure what the math works out to on that but if i were a bettn man i would say its not at all unreasonable to say this might suggest a pre date of clovis by around 10,000 years, clovis first model im sorry but damaging things like that are sending the gospel of archeology packing , some folks feel this is a bad thing for anthropology, however remember what were dealing with therorys and models are stated to be refined over time clovis first model times up solutreansolution is here to stay, anthro is ever changing and even when the so called gospel is asked to leave the building we as anthropologist should rejoice in the fact that everytime we do something like this were refining are craft embrace this idea look at it genetically, archeologically, chronologically,,and with out bias it makes so much more sense than this 70 year old clovis first model, get excited about the truth folks....ranallimike@yahoo.com
Spear-point distributions across North America suggest a migration which started on the East coast of the USA, and not over the Bering Strait. Asian Indian migrations over the Bering strait occurred later. Supports Stone Age European First theory (aka Solutrean or Out of Europe Theory), and dis-confirms “Indians First over Bering Strait” theory. 12. Spearpoint Distribution - N.
