Has anything changed with the change of administrations. Seems to me that big govie is still the only game in town. We need to go from 8k banks to 3k. Plain and simple, if big govie wants to make changes, that’s the starting point. We don’t need to borrow more to exacerbate the credit problem. more about " You All Deserve What You’re Gonna Ge…", posted with vodpod Posted in Trading

http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/02/13/stimulus/index.htmlIn a 246-183 partisan vote, the House of Representatives passed the massive Obama stimulus bill. All House Republicans and 7 Democrats voted against the bill, with four Democratic member changing to the affirmative since the prior vote. The U.S. Senate will pass the vote 60-38 later tonight. The vote is being delayed by the late arrival of Sherrod Brown, whose mother passed away in Ohio earlier in the week. The three Republican RINOs voted with the majority.Majority leader John Boehner was furious that the House was not given the promised 48 hours to review the bill. 110o pages were delivered to House members at midnight, and were voted on 12 hours later. One of the largest spending bills (if not the largest) in American history, and our Congressional leaders can’t bother to read the bill before they vote on it. What an embarrasment. Well, at least Nancy Pelosi got to make her flight to Rome…Is anybody going to be surprised that there is going to be a lot of hidden, rotting, stinking pork in this bill that we will only find out later?UPDATE: Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio, whose mother passed away earlier in the week, was flown on a government plane provided by Pres. Obama so he could vote on the Stimulus bill last night. Now, not to attack Sen. Brown, his priorities were rightfully at home. But the Senate couldn’t wait until Monday? And apparently, chartered private planes are o.k. for politicians, but not for C.E.O.s, no matter how bad our economic condition is.http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/02/13/stimulus/index.htmlTechnorati Tags: Barack Obama, Democratic Party, Economy, Ethics, Harry Reid, John Boehner, Nancy Pelosi, Recession, Stimulus, Timothy Geithner, White House
