While on-screen he is sublimely confident and one of Our Great Actors in interview situations he’s notoriously shy, often mumbles, and many of his answers come in single-syllables, making him basically unquotable. Which is why it’s weird that he’s the first guest on Jimmy Fallon’s new talk show, which starts tonight. Maybe it’ll just be this over and over:
