One of the things I really enjoy is knitting. It is a puzzle to solve and at the end you have made something soft and beautiful. I like to think of the person I will give the knitted item to while I'm making it. This video explains the basic way to knit I recommend. There are only two stitches that make up the world of knitting--knits and pearls. This is a great demo of the basics, the starting point of any knitting project.
