Horrid, rather than down our throat, this needs to be shoved up the ass of anyone who is sponsoring, or planning to vote for, this monstrous assault on the freedom of speech.
Not that there's an ice cube's chance in hell of it happening, but what I would absolutely love to see, is the passage of a non-binding resolution that condemns the practice of indoctrinating or assigning children to membership in any particular faith. Answer any questions THEY ask, yes, but no telling them that they are of one or another religion.
At the age of eighteen they can join a faith of their choice should they wish, but by then, assuming a halfway rounded education, I'd imagine many if not most, would pass. (As well, I'm fairly confident that those who did opt to follow a particular creed, the chances of he or she ending up as an unreasoning zealot, would be somewhat remote.)
