My brother was surfing around today and found this talk on TED, which you should really check out if you haven't already, about Twitter. Evan Williams is the CEO of the company that owns Twitter, and he was one of the founders of Blogger as well.
I knew that I would want to share the talk with all of you here, since Twitter isn't something we have had the chance to talk about much in class. But, when he said the statement below, I knew it was definitely something that you needed to see.
"It seems like when you give people easier ways to share information, more good things happen." Evan Williams
The business model he talks about is one that could easily resonate for our class as well. We are working towards giving people an easier way to communicate, and I can't wait to see all the good things that will happen throughout the rest of this semester!

I was just watching the recent TED Talk by Twitter co-founder Evan Williams. In the video he talks about how the explosive growth of Twitter has mainly come from unexpected uses by the Twitter community.
Here is the Evan Williams talk at the TED conference that I mentioned in a previous post. I'm testing this Vodpod site to see how it posts to WordPress.
